Shark tooth similar microstructure at ceramic knife surfaces

Cutting edge of ceramic knifes can be configurated in the micrometer range with shark tooth similar structures. These structures improve the cutting quality considerabely and prevent that the knife shifts and sticks during cutting.

Klinge dunkel

Micrometer grooves at the entire cutting face generate air ducts. They prevent suction of food (e.g. tomatoes, meet etc.) during cutting. This leads to improved slipping in the food to be cut.
